WELCOME to The Hall House, home of Mosaic Artist Kathe Hall.
Kathe Hall, or "Krackin Kake" (pronounced Ka –Kee), lives with her husband and
three Golden Retriever Labs in the majestic North Georgia Mountains.
"Mosaic Art has been around for many centuries. Using broken china, pottery shards, glass
and other found objects, I create what evokes a thought or an idea by recycling.
I have been creating pieces over 14 years, with no two pieces ever being
alike. Being a self taught non-directional creator of mosaic pieces, you
never know what you will see next. Most of my work is 2 and 3 dimensional
mixed media. When I am creating I like to use colors and folksy, fartsy pieces
in which I hope will provoke a happy feeling that will bring on a smile!"
Kathe says, "Outside of my art, I enjoy gardening, socializing with folks, antiques, and traveling."
If you are interested in taking a class and learning the technique of Mosaicing
with broken china and other found objects please contact
